Palm Angels and Under Armour Release Recovery Apparel Inspired by the Needs of Athletes and Entertainers

Whether running the offense from a stadium pitch or performing onstage for a packed crowd, athletes and entertainers share a common need: recovery on the road, from game-to-game or performance-to-performance. Palm Angels and Under Armour are providing the solution with the ultimate recovery apparel capsule collection.

Founded by Francesco Ragazzi, Palm Angels is best known for iconic tracksuits that have become a staple amongst athletes and entertainers alike. Under Armour has been delivering innovation-driven apparel for 23 years, making athletes better by equipping them to perform at their best.

With this new capsule, Under Armour is providing its latest breakthrough responsive textiles, developed in partnership with leading infrared technology provider Celliant. The apparel will take the heat naturally produced by the body and re-emit it back in the form of infrared energy, aiding in the recovery process.

Collaborating with Under Armour, I wanted to bring the unique designs of Palm Angels to Under Armour's game-changing innovation in the form of all day, all night recovery. Similar to athletes, entertainers put stress on their bodies when traveling the world. I wanted to tell the personal style story of athletes and entertainers who are constantly on the road.

Under Armour's holistic approach to training focuses on each hour of the day, not just the time spent sweating, which means rest is just as critical. Under Armour is expanding the idea of recovery beyond sleep into numerous other passive wearing occasions, including the time athletes and entertainers spend traveling.

The Palm Angels and Under Armour recovery collection includes hoodies, crew sweaters, joggers, shorts and t-shirts. The collection releases April 12 in the U.S. and Canada, followed by worldwide distribution on April 19. Retail partners to shop the capsule include Antonia (Italy), Antonioli (Italy), Harrods (UK), Hypebeast (Hong Kong), Likus (Poland), MR PORTER, Palm Monobrand (Hong Kong), Saks Fifth Avenue (U.S.) and SSENSE (Canada), among others.

To launch the collection, a pre-sale preview of the exclusive release was hosted in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 6 at 427 Fairfax Avenue.
