View OnlineUnder Armour’s sustainability goal is to keep strengthening the processes and partnerships we have in place to protect this house. We strive to listen to, and work with, all our key stakeholders: customers, employees, investors, policymakers, civil society organizations, business partners, and supply chain workers. And we continue to review and evolve our sustainability reporting and disclosure strategy to address our business operations’ most significant—and sometimes changing—opportunities and risks.
Currently, we are prioritizing our reporting capacity on our management of the following material issues: Forced or Compulsory Labor, Child Labor, Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining, Occupational Health and Safety, Fair Wages, Non-Discrimination, Diversity and Equal Opportunity, and Local Communities; Materials, Supplier Environmental Awareness, Effluents and Waste, Energy, Emissions, and Water.
We identified these issues using a materiality process, informed by the Global Reporting Initiative and other industry-leading practices and standards for apparel, footwear, and digital/IT business sectors. As part of this process, Under Armour’s leadership, management, and teammates work together to analyze and rank sustainability issues. External stakeholder perspectives are also considered, since outside viewpoints are critically important to covering the whole field.
We’re driven to keep evolving and improving our reporting capabilities, while openly sharing where we are today. We continue to develop the systems needed to collect, analyze, and disclose more issue-specific data that will enable us to keep carrying the ball forward.
Our website is currently our primary Sustainability reporting tool and we will be communicating updates through it as new information about our program becomes available. If you are looking for our 2017 print report, or information previously found on our website, it can be downloaded here.

Under Armour expects our suppliers and subcontractors to do business in a manner that aligns with our values, treating their employees with dignity and respect, and providing safe workplace and dormitory conditions. We see our UK Modern Slavery Act (MSA) disclosures as an opportunity to Stay True to our stakeholders by sharing with them where we are in our efforts to address modern slavery risks in our business and supply chains. Starting with our 2020 statement, which covers reporting for the fiscal year ending December 31st 2019, we began to harmonize our UK MSA and our disclosure pursuant to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657).
