Under Armour hosted key media and influencers in Barcelona, Spain, to experience the benefits of the pinnacle shoe of the brand’s new UA Infinite Collection. To celebrate another milestone in running, UA brought elite athlete Sharon Lokedi to the event to take guests on a variety of training runs to feel the various technical aspects of the shoe on iconic Barcelona running routes.
Alongside Sharon, Jonathan Hutnyan, Senior Product Line Manager of Performance Run Footwear, presented to guests the journey Under Armour went on to develop this innovative shoe and re-emphasized UA’s run positioning.
As part of the speaker panel, Stephen Haas, coach of UA Mission Run Dark Sky Distance, traveled from the team’s base in Flagstaff, Arizona, to share how UA’s elite running team - including Sharon Lokedi - are starting to reach new heights and break more records, leveraging the benefits of the UA Infinite Elite in their longer training runs.
Spain has a strong running audience and is becoming a growth market for Under Armour, as UA continues to rapidly expand across the EMEA region through brand heat and many product innovations.
“It’s great to have a well cushioned and responsive shoe such as the UA Infinite Elite to use as part of my everyday running. This has been very helpful in the past few months as I continue to strive to become the best marathoner I can be.”

As the brand’s newest running footwear franchise, the UA Infinite Collection is all about delivering key footwear models that support long run days as well as everyday miles. Designed as the ultimate endurance shoes, the experience is boundless, effortless and limitless on the run. From the super responsive feel of UA Infinite Elite to the balanced spring and support of UA Infinite Pro, these shoes were built to help you go harder. Everything about this collection is plush in comfort with the goal of making the last mile feel as good as the first.
UA HOVR™ cushioning has always been known for its energy return—the springy feeling that powers you through your longest runs. By molding together tiny foam beads, Under Armour created a new way to plus up the spring. UA HOVR+™ will debut in these two styles and deliver a lighter, softer and more responsive underfoot experience than any previous UA midsole foam.
Leading the charge for our introduction of HOVR+ is the UA Infinite Elite. A maximal training shoe built for the long run and a runner’s go-to pick for their must-have mileage monster in their rotation. We’re delivering ultra and plush comfort not only underfoot via HOVR+ but also in the other components the runner interacts with. From the collar and tongue foam, the laces, to the sock-liner, everything is built for comfort. The adaptive full-length UA Intelliknit upper is built with zonal stretch and containment to move with each runner’s unique stride. And a sloped heel design and a light, but durable rubber sole absorb impact for a smooth, steady feel.
Following up the Elite, the UA Infinite Pro is the alternative style in the Collection, offering that run-forever feel. Continuing to drive the boundless energy return experience, this model takes some of that key technology from the long run day shoe in Elite and brings it down to a daily trainer for those shorter days or recovery runs. Featuring a hug-your-foot-fit, this style includes a woven upper with airy vents and a 3D print overlay for a snug, secure fit no matter how fast you go.
The UA Infinite Collection can be found on UA.com and in select UA Brand Houses in both men’s and women’s style. The UA Infinite Elite retails for €160 / £145, while the UA Infinite Pro retails for €130 / £120.
