UNLESS Collective, the zero-plastic regenerative footwear and apparel brand acquired by Under Armour in 2024, was founded on a simple and powerful question: what if clothing didn’t take from the planet, but gave back to it?
That question is the foundation of UNLESS. Every product, from T-shirts to shoes, is 100% plant-based, synthetic plastic-free, and built to return safely to the Earth through the UNLESS Take Back Program. It’s a vision that also drives Under Armour, pushing innovation forward while redefining what responsibility in sportswear can look like.
And this Earth Month, it’s the reason we’re launching a simple, community-powered call to action: the Zero-P Swap, our plastic-free challenge.
How it Works
The Zero-P Swap invites everyone to replace just one plastic item in their everyday life with a plastic-free alternative and then challenge someone else to do the same. The rules are simple:
⟳ Make a Swap
Replace one plastic item with a plastic-free option, big or small.
- Single-use water bottle → reusable bottle
- Poly-blend hoodie → UNLESS 100% plant-based hoodie
- Plastic tote → natural fiber bag
#️Tag It
Tag @UNLESScollective and use #ZeroPChallenge.
→ Pay It Forward
Tag a friend and challenge them to make their own swap.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about proving that better choices are possible right now, because one small swap, multiplied through community, creates real impact.
Reclaiming Earth Day
This challenge isn’t happening in isolation. As Earth Day approaches, UNLESS is preparing something special that is rooted in the same belief behind the Zero-P Swap: that apparel can add value to the world it lives in.
We’re not revealing everything just yet, but you’ll want to stay tuned at @UNLESScollective.
Until then, your move is simple: make one swap, challenge one friend, and help take plastic out of the system.
The future starts small.
