Today, the City of Baltimore will dedicate West Peninsula Drive as “Lindsey Vonn Way” as part of Under Armour’s Lindsey Vonn Day celebration, marking 20 years of partnership with one of the most decorated alpine skiers in history. The street dedication at Baltimore Peninsula, home to Under Armour’s global headquarters, will honor an athlete whose relentless determination reflects the character of the city behind the brand.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott will join Under Armour Founder and CEO Kevin Plank and Vonn for the dedication, the city’s contribution to Under Armour’s celebration of its longest-tenured athlete partner. For two decades, Vonn has been a face of the Baltimore-based brand, embodying the determination to work through adversity and come back stronger that resonates deeply with its hometown.
