SC30 Select Camp 2017

Stephen Curry is back in the Bay - and he's bringing the nation's top ballers with him

When you’re known for breaking basketball, operating as a cheat code, and ruining the game, people start to talk. Stephen Curry has been accused of ruining the game of basketball, to the point where kids are jacking up 30 footers and youth coaches are throwing their clipboards out of frustration.

But basketball is the game Stephen loves, and while his incredible range and quick trigger have captured the imaginations of the young — and ire of the old — Stephen continues to care deeply about the game and the people that play it. He wants to bring all of his knowledge and skills beyond the deep shot—the handles, the reflexes, the intensity, the maniac will to always get better—and share it with the most promising youth basketball players in the nation, showing them how to take the leap to eventual Verified status.

With Under Armour and Chase, Stephen is bringing back the fifth annual year of the SC30 Select Camp, an elite showcase featuring the best and brightest basketball players across the country. It doesn't end there, though, because Stephen doesn't operate like any other basketball superstar, he does it his way: wired different.

This year the SC30 Select Camp attendees will also spend time at the Bushrod Community Center in Oakland where Stephen helped refurbish indoor courts last year. Next week, Camp participants will help Stephen upgrade the Center's computer lab to help students reach their potential.

The 2018 SC30 Select Camp will also be the first to feature two of the top female prospects in the country, as Cameron Brink and Azzi Fudd will compete and learn alongside top men's prospects.
