The Future Just Got Better – The Curry 12 Has Arrived

Curry Brand and Stephen Curry release the 12th edition of his signature shoe

Heading into his 16th season in the NBA, Stephen Curry continues to push the limits of what is possible on the court with his dynamic skill set and his relentless drive to be the best. His latest signature shoe is no different, embodying his competitive spirit and joy for the game. The Curry 12 has arrived – ready to propel Stephen to peak performance in the next chapter of his career and help hoopers all over the world do their thing.

Today, Curry Brand released the 12th iteration of Stephen Curry’s signature shoe, adding onto an already remarkable legacy for the 10-time All-Star and 4-time NBA champion. Building off the bold and daring design of the Curry 11, the Curry 12 takes things a step further, with futuristic style to maximize performance, precision in movement, and comfort for today’s elite player.

“Every year we try and improve upon design and innovation and this year I think we have something special, a sleeker design unlike any previous Curry. My team designed this model to help players accelerate and cut with precision without sacrificing comfort. I’ve been breaking them in this summer and looking forward to releasing them to everyone.”

Continuing Curry Brand’s forward-looking product design, the Curry 12 is tailored to optimize on-court performance: offering 360 degrees of support, better fit and more comfort. Like its predecessor, this sneaker is built for those who value quickness and the ability to move with precision, featuring UA Flow technology on the outsole for superior traction and grip, with a new ratio of dual UA Flow within the midsole for increased comfort and responsiveness. Like the Curry 11, the Curry 12 implements a lightweight Pebax plate in the midfoot as well as a segmented version in the forefoot of the sole.  This creates more stability for the player along with more flexibility in the forefoot. The upper features a new expressive engineered mesh pattern that provides zonal support and increased breathability.  It allows for a more custom fit while also creating a simpler, sleeker silhouette that can flow with the movements of the player.

Additional new features include:

  • A lateral TPU midsole insert that allows versatility with elevated finishes for storytelling amongst the colorways, which will be announced later on.

  • Articulated eyelets for the lacing system, allowing for a more custom fit.

  • Big toe protection with a suede overlay, which provides support and durability for the front of the foot with an added premium feel.

  • A thinner, molded tongue with pockets of foam which allows for increased comfort on top of the foot. The tongue also features a special message to Stephen.

  • A TPU heel counter for support featuring the Roman numeral “XII” – a nod to one of Stephen’s tattoos and marking this very special 12th shoe.

  • A dedication to Stephen’s wife and children on the outsole of the shoe. *Stephen’s youngest son Caius who was born in May 2024 will be included in his next signature shoe.

“At Curry Brand, we are committed to making sneakers that allow Stephen to do his thing on the court and perform at the highest level. With the Curry 12, we have done that, integrating our advanced technology from past iterations with an elevated design that will help us tell a unique story with each and every colorway. We are very excited to keep pushing into the future with the Curry 12 and bring this sneaker to the masses.”

-Ryan Drew, GM of Curry Brand

Since the launch of the Curry 11 almost a year ago, Curry Brand has built a team for the future, adding an incredible roster of athletes who are committed to the brand’s mission of changing the game for good. In October of 2023, Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox joined the team, becoming the first athlete signed with Curry Brand alongside Stephen himself. Fox’s first signature shoe, the Curry Fox 1, is set to debut later this year. Earlier this spring, University of South Carolina guard MiLaysia Fulwiliey inked a multi-year NIL deal to become Curry Brand’s first official collegiate athlete directly signed to the brand. And most recently, Curry Brand signed Japanese basketball standout Keisei Tominaga, making him the first international athlete to represent Curry Brand.

The limited release Curry 12 "Red, White and Blue" colorways are available online at UA.com and DSG.com starting today, with additional colorways to be revealed later on. Curry Brand fans and hoopers can expect exciting and plentiful Curry 12 options throughout the year as well as Retro and FloTro releases that bring the best of Curry Brand’s beloved colorway stories and moments into the future. Stay locked in for the latest updates by following  @CurryBrand on Instagram.
