FREDDIE FREEMAN WINS BACK-TO-BACK WORLD SERIES TITLES

Under Armour Athlete Adds Third Championship to Legendary Career

Under Armour athlete and Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman helped the Dodgers clinch the 2025 World Series title, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in a showstopping seven-game series. With this victory, Freeman earns his third World Series ring, further cementing his status as one of the fiercest competitors in the game.

Freeman’s impact was felt throughout the series, most notably with his unforgettable walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 18th inning in Game 3, which gave the Dodgers a 6–5 win in one of the longest games in World Series history. That blast made him the first player in MLB history with two walk-off home runs in World Series play, placing him alongside Lou Gehrig in elite company.

While teammate Yoshinobu Yamamoto ultimately earned this season’s World Series MVP honors for his pitching performance, Freeman’s steady leadership and consistency were instrumental in guiding the Dodgers to their second consecutive championship. His ability to thrive in high-pressure moments—now with seven home runs and 17 RBIs over his last ten World Series games —cements his reputation as one of the most clutch hitters in baseball history.

Fellow Under Armour athlete Andy Pages also contributed to the historic victory with a game-saving play in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7 to keep the Dodgers’ championship hopes alive. With the bases loaded and two outs, Pages, who had just been subbed in for defense, leapt into the left-center gap and collided with teammate Kiké Hernández to make a pivotal catch that sent the game into extra innings.

“Back-to-back World Series titles—Freddie is truly one of the great competitors in the game today."

"Under Armour is honored to be his partner and to celebrate yet another historic achievement. Congratulations to Freddie, Andy and the Dodgers on an unforgettable repeat run!”

Freeman made his MLB debut in 2010 with the Atlanta Braves, where he earned a Gold Glove Award (2018), three Silver Sluggers (2019–2021), and the National League MVP in 2020. A nine-time All-Star, he won his first World Series title with the Braves in 2021 and his second in 2024 with the Dodgers, earning MVP honors for his record-setting postseason performance.

A long-time Under Armour athlete, Freeman is known for wearing UA’s HeatGear® Compression Long Sleeve Shirt—a tribute to his late mother, Rosemary, who passed away from melanoma. He also competes in the Men’s UA Yard Baseball Cleats and Men’s UA Yard Batting Gloves, gear that supports his elite performance on the field.

With another championship in the books, Freeman’s legacy continues to grow—not just as a dominant force on the diamond, but as a role model for the next generation of athletes.
