LENDING A HAND TO FIGHT COVID-19

Under Armour Photographer Devin Allen Captures <br> Teammates Volunteering as Brand's PPE Assembly Efforts Continue

Under Armour staff photographer Devin Allen has captured the volunteer efforts of Baltimore campus teammates as production of personal protective equipment (PPE) continues. Under Armour and its team are donating time, design, facilities and equipment to make PPE supplies for the purpose of helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.

To support the University of Maryland Medical System’s (UMMS) 28,000 health care providers and staff, Under Armour is manufacturing and assembling face masks, and delivering face shields and specially equipped fanny packs for the statewide medical system. As of April 6, UA began fabricating hospital gowns and delivering face masks to LifeBridge, a regional health care organization based in Baltimore. Additionally, UA is also now providing face masks to Johns Hopkins Health System and MedStar, a community-based health system serving Baltimore.

Under Armour continues to discuss the needs for supplies with other Maryland-based medical institutions. To learn more about how Under Armour is leaning in to assist relief efforts please visit the original story from March 31 via the UA Newsroom here.
