Asian University Basketball League (AUBL) Announces Under Armour as Its Official Performance Outfitter and Game Ball Partner

The Asian University Basketball League (the AUBL) has announced a landmark partnership with Under Armour, leading global athletic performance brand and Sport House, as the league’s official performance outfitter and game ball partner.

 

The AUBL will tip off its inaugural season on August 18-24, 2025, in Hangzhou, China, featuring Asia’s 12 top men’s college teams. As the league's official partner, Under Armour will outfit all teams with performance uniforms and training apparel – each customized with unique team visuals – while also supplying the league's official game balls. This partnership underscores Under Armour’s dedication to collegiate basketball and its vision to engage Asian audiences, embodying the brand’s mission of “Under Armour makes Athletes better” while fostering the growth of campus basketball culture across Asia.

Under Armour’s commitment to collegiate sports is well-documented. In the US, the brand currently sponsors 90 Division I basketball programs and has sponsorship deals with approximately 500 colleges, representing 30% of the US market across Division I, II, III and Junior Colleges. Under Armour has demonstrated its commitment to growing athletes in Asia since 2008 and recognizes the region's burgeoning potential in collegiate basketball.

As part of the collaboration, select players from the AUBL will travel to Chongqing this summer for a once-in-a-lifetime experience to meet with 4-Time NBA Champion Stephen Curry and participate in an exhibition game hosted by Curry Brand and Under Armour.
