Some people never rock the boat. They keep their heads down and go with the flow. Then, there are those who refuse to accept their environment and circumstances – they challenge what has been done, and chart new paths for those that follow.

During Women’s History Month, Under Armour celebrates women who push past the status quo, past expectations and past excuses. Women like Lindsey Vonn, who break boundaries in their sport and work to give women of the future the confidence to move mountains. Women like Natasha Hastings, who shares lessons of self-love to the next generation of up-and-coming track stars. Women like Hailie Deegan, who fearlessly raced into the record books as the first female driver to win a K&N Pro Series NASCAR race. Women like Danielle Scott, who didn’t let a late start in her sport keep her from her dreams. Women like Madison de Rozario, the Paralympian who uses her platform to help other women love their bodies. And women like Misty Copeland, Chloe Logarzo, Aisha Praught-Leer, Rachel Daly and Jade Jones, who join their fellow Under Armour women athletes to push beyond the dialogue of “good for a girl” and become great in their own right.

Legendary performance broadens our possibilities. In every era, we witness that when women defy convention, they not only break but also raise expectations – stirring the call of something greater in all of us and bringing us closer to the limits of our potential.

We celebrate women who not only champion equality and justice, but unify and incite the collective. This is the power of a uniter.
