Under Armour Debuts Click Clack: The Next Era, Celebrating the Women Redefining Flag Football

Twenty years after the original Click-Clack commercial signaled a disruptive new force in football, Under Armour introduces Click Clack: The Next Era, a reimagination that honors the brand’s legacy while elevating the women shaping flag football’s future. The campaign captures the unmistakable rhythm of cleats on concrete, as well as the elite performance, individuality, and self-expression these athletes present both on and off the field.

 

Launching on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the campaign spotlights the athletes redefining what flag football looks like and who it belongs to. Leading with power, confidence, grit, individuality, style and unapologetic femininity, these women are expanding the sport’s culture and signaling the arrival of a new era.

At the heart of the campaign is Under Armour’s roster of elite flag football talent, including USA Football Center/Defensive Back Ashlea Klam, Mexico Flag Football quarterback Diana Flores and USA Football standouts Laneah Bryan and Isabella Geraci. Inspired in part by Ashlea’s vision for the future of the sport, the spot follows these athletes through a cinematic showdown that spans across two worlds, the intensity of the field and the heightened picture of what flag football is becoming.

Through stylized and powerful visual storytelling, the campaign reflects how women are advancing the sport, driving down the field against anything standing in their way.

 

Throughout the spot, athletes can be seen in the brand’s superior football-ready gear, including all-new HeatGear® Elite and the Click Clack Hi Viz cleat, which will launch in March. Remastered for the next generation and powered by UA’s NEOLAST™ stretch technology, HeatGear® Elite delivers next-level support with greater stretch helping athletes perform in any setting without limits.

 

In the aura world, HeatGear® Elite serves as the performance baselayer, then is styled with elevated pieces sourced from the Albright Fashion Library in New York and Los Angeles. From metallic corsetry and chainmail elements, to crystal-studded accents, couture gowns, leatherwork and custom Lucchese boots, high-performance meets high-fashion to create modern uniforms that reflect each athlete’s identity.

 

Beyond the campaign, Under Armour continues to lead the rapid growth of flag football through a nationwide ecosystem of partnerships and programs, expanding access and elevating the game from youth to elite levels. Under Armour is the official and exclusive uniform, apparel, footwear, and accessories partner of USA Football and the brand recently hosted the second Under Armour Next All-America Girls Flag Football Game in January 2026, bringing together the next generation of elite flag athletes.

This week, Under Armour also announced a $1 million grant supporting girls’ flag football initiatives, removing barriers to play through equipment donations, financial resources and coach education. In partnership with USA Football, Under Armour will also host a girl’s flag football clinic on Thursday, February 5 at 2:15 p.m. PT at the Moscone Center as part of the NFL’s Super Bowl LX Experience. Additionally, Under Armour is the official performance apparel partner for Unrivaled Flag, reaching 100,000 young athletes annually across their leagues and events. 

 

Together, these efforts reflect Under Armour’s ongoing commitment to growing the sport, empowering the next generation of athletes, and shaping the future of flag football as it accelerates towards its Olympic debut in Los Angeles 2028.
