Under Armour Unveils New Golf Innovations Set to Redefine Fit and Performance on the Course

The new Drive Pro Clone footwear and ArmourDry Polo showcase the brand’s latest breakthroughs in adaptive fit, moisture management, and course ready comfort

Under Armour is advancing the next chapter of golf performance footwear and apparel with the introduction of the Drive Pro Clone golf shoes and ArmourDry Polo. Designed to help golfers move more naturally and play with greater confidence through changing conditions, these innovations underscore the brand’s commitment to solving real athlete needs through material science, design precision, and course‑tested performance. Both products are set to be worn by Under Armour’s Tour players and the 4Aces GC of LIV Golf during the 2026 season and will launch globally on February 6.

A Smarter Fit from the Ground Up

Under Armour developed the Drive Pro Clone to address a longstanding problem in golf footwear: traditional designs often struggle to match the natural shape and movement of the athlete’s foot. Traditional leathers and textiles can limit how well a shoe conforms to the foot and to the swing, which can affect overall fit and consistency on the course. The Drive Pro Clone introduces an adaptive solution built to move with the golfer and deliver a custom fit for your foot.

At the center of the shoe’s innovation is the proprietary auxetic Clone upper, a material that behaves less like static fabric and more like a dynamic surface. By expanding, contracting, and shaping itself to the unique geometry of the foot, Clone creates an adaptive fit that remains consistent throughout a full round, regardless of fatigue, terrain, or conditions.

When paired with the UA Swing Support System featuring dual-foam cushioning and custom UA S3 spikes, Drive Pro Clone unlocks more repeatable traction, stability and power, giving golfers confidence on every swing.

The New Standard for Polos

In parallel with the Drive Pro Clone’s focus on an adaptive fit on foot, Under Armour set out to create a new standard for polos by introducing its latest material innovation, UA Helix Technology. Using a coiled‑yarn construction, the technology lifts the fabric slightly off the skin to increase airflow and speed evaporation. By continuing to challenge the norm and changing the game yet again, Under Armour brought the ArmourDry Polo to life.

Built at just 165 grams, the ArmourDry Polo is a high-performance top that dries 50 percent faster than the brand’s Playoff Polo. Additionally, ArmourDry features improved drape and coverage-protect for on and off the course.

Implementing sustainability and circular design principles in at least half of its products by 2027 and developing chemistry and processes that can enable a circular footwear program to be launched in market, at scale, by 2030. At the end of 2021, approximately 40% of fabrics used in the company’s apparel and accessories were made from materials capable of being recycled. Supporting innovation that reduces fiber shedding from textiles and targeting 75% of fabric to be made of low-shed materials, as defined by industry-leading guidance on fabric shedding that the company will work collectively to shape by 2030.
