UNDER ARMOUR LAUNCHES ITS LATEST WOMEN’S BASELAYER WITH “LDN LAYERS” PARTY

AN UNAPOLOGETIC CELEBRATION OF LONDON’S STYLE, SOUND AND FEMALE CULTURE

Last night, Under Armour unveiled its new Women’s Crop Mock Baselayer by hosting LDN Layers. The evening event brought together all four corners of London in a women-led collective to showcase the versatility of the garment and how it moves effortlessly from training and performance to nightlife and street style.

Set inside the Bronx Boxing Gym, in London’s South-East, the one-night experience fused sound and style. Rooted in the belief that every corner of the city has a distinct, ownable and individual identity, LDN Layers paired up four influential female creatives together with four stand-out DJs and female sport collectives in a powerful community celebration.

North London’s Magda Kaczmarska teamed up with SZN FC, a new North London football club making waves in women’s football. With her ravey silhouettes, South London’s Aicha Benjelloun styled the Sin Run Club, a female-first run club reclaiming the South London streets. Repping East, Marj Moore’s blend of sport and fashion was brought to life in East London Football team, Victoria Park Vixens, while Ava Hirons teamed up with the fierce and powerful Girls Spot Gym community to represent West London.

The evening was soundtracked by live performances from ESCJaguarIzzy Bossy, and Silva Snipa, each DJ representing a corner of London through their distinct musical identity: Garage (North), Electronic (East), Dancehall (West) and Jungle (South). Each collective stepped into the ring styled in the new UA Women’s Crop Mock Baselayer, bringing their neighbourhood’s attitude, movement and rhythm to life.

The party culminated in a headline performance from ultimate Londoner, Eliza Rose, the Hackney‑born DJ, producer and vocalist behind global hit B.O.T.A (Baddest Of Them All).

“London’s my home, and always will be! I love that we’re celebrating and championing its women in unapologetic fashion with LDN Layers and Under Armour. THE DIVERSITY AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IN EACH CORNER OF MY CITY HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO LIFE BEAUTIFULLY BY THESE AMAZING WOMEN."

LDN Layers was an unapologetic tribute to London’s cultural layers, celebrating the women who train harder, move faster and shape the city on their own terms. The event coincides with the launch of Under Armour’s Unapologetic by Design campaign, which sees the new Women’s Baselayer transcend training and become a versatile system of dress, a style product in its own right.
