UA Presents 6th Annual SC30 Select Camp

Stephen Curry Invites Top High School Players to the Bay Area for Hands-On Training and Skill Development

From August 5-7, Stephen Curry is teaming up with Under Armour and Chase to host the sixth edition of his SC30 Select Camp, a basketball showcase comprised of elite players from across the country that have different backgrounds and skillsets, but share a common goal: to one day ruin the game.

The Bay Area has been the backdrop for so many of Stephen's career milestones, and this year, he and Under Armour return to give a glimpse into the future of the game.

Stephen’s ascension to becoming the best shooter in NBA history was fueled by his off-the-ball movement and ability to find just enough breathing room to get an open look. To operate at such a high level, it takes more than just knowing how to get around a backdoor screen – it requires an elevated degree of training that is a critical piece of Stephen’s success.

At the SC30 Select Camp, Stephen will extend personalized instruction to each participant, highlighting the importance of balancing growth on and off the court. The program features four on-court basketball training and competition sessions, and each camp participant will go through a holistic recovery regimen in an on-site recovery room similar to the one curated specifically for Stephen by Paul Winsper, VP of Under Armour Athlete Performance.

The 2019 SC30 Select Camp roster includes:

Quadry Adams, Edison, New Jersey; Jaden Bradley, Concord, North Carolina; Nathan Bittle, Central Point, Oregon; Cameron Brink, Beaverton, Oregon; Paige Bueckers, St. Louis Park, Minnesota; Max Christie Jr., Arlington Heights, Illinois; Jerrell Colbert, Converse, Texas; Jalen Cook, Walker, Louisiana; Jonathan Davis, La Crosse, Wisconsin; Alexis Donarski, Onalaska, Wisconsin; Azzi Fudd, Arlington, Virginia; Jalen Green, Fresno, California; Sasha Goforth; Fayetteville, Arkansas; Chet Holmgren, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Jalen Hood-Schifino, Charlotte, North Carolina; Treasure Hunt, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Clarksville, Tennessee; Zeb Jackson, Maumee, Ohio; Eddie Lampkin, Houston, Texas; Makur Maker, Orange, California; Karim Mane, Quebec, Canada; Mark Mitchell, Lansing, Kansas; Matthew Murrell, Memphis, Tennessee; Daishen Nix Las Vegas, Nevada; Akeem Odusipe, Knoxville, Tennessee; Te-Hina Paopao, Oceanside, California; Trey Patterson, Somerset, New Jersey; Michael Saunders Jr., Indianapolis, Indiana; Jaden Springer, Charlotte, North Carolina; Jalen Suggs, Saint Paul, Minnesota; Bryce Thompson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Earl Timberlake Jr., Hyattsville, Maryland; Jarace Walker, York, Pennsylvania.

Last summer, Stephen invited Azzi Fudd (left, class of 2021, Saint John's College H.S. in Washington DC) and Cameron Brink (right, class of 2020, Southridge H.S. in Oregon) to participate in his select camp. This year, Azzi and Cameron will return to camp along with five additional female players: Bueckers, Donarski, Goforth, Hunt, and Paopao. Photo credit: Cassy Athena, @cassyathenaphoto.

Once deemed undersized and ranked a three-star recruit, Stephen has inspired young players around the world as an example of hard work, self-belief and a strong support system to triumph against odds. One such athlete is Quadry Adams who, since being identified this year during Stephen's Underrated Tour, Powered by Rakuten, has seen zero collegiate scholarship offers increase to 11. Adams will attend the 2019 SC30 Camp to continue building a foundation for his game.

The players will also get their hands on limited-edition footwear colorways. Under Armour is making sure they bring the heat when they hit the court by outfitting them with pairs of a Curry 3 Zer0 III halo and ash gray colorway and a black, white and metallic gold Curry 6 colorway available for limited release on UA.com. A teal with floral print Curry 6 custom colorway for game day will drop August 16 at 10 am ET via the UA Shop App.

Rounding out their Bay Area experience, the players will join Under Armour, Chase and Stephen and Ayesha Curry's Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation for an afternoon of community giveback with Oakland Parks & Recreation.

During the 2018 SC30 Camp, the Eat. Learn. Play Foundation, Under Armour, Chase and Heart of America came together to help the youth of the Oakland community reach their full potential with the debut of an education lab at Bushrod Recreation Center.
