Building on the legacy of premier basketball events, Under Armour announced today that it will host its first-ever City Classic Baltimore later this summer. This showcase is designed to put the next generation of stars on center stage in a city known for its deep basketball roots, passion, and culture. This year, UA is bringing 20 of the best boys and girls high school basketball players each from all over North America to its hometown to compete in its marquee showcase event of the summer.

The City Classic is set for Saturday, August 15 at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, MD with the girls' game set for 12 p.m. ET. and the boys’ game to follow at 2 p.m. ET. The games will be open to the public, with tickets available for purchase HERE.

Top prospects from Under Armour’s UAA and GUAA circuits will come to Baltimore to put on a show for the city, creating an unmatched environment of competition, exposure, and pride. Adding to the prestige, NBA All-Star De’Aaron Fox and Baltimore native and rising star Derik Queen will take the sidelines as head coaches, mentoring and leading the teams through the weekend. Their presence bridges the gap between the next generation and the highest levels of the game, offering players a rare opportunity to learn directly from elite talent.

"Bringing the UA Next City Classic to Baltimore is about returning to our roots and investing in the next generation of athletes where our story began. This event reflects Under Armour's commitment to elevating grassroots basketball, creating meaningful opportunities for young talent, and celebrating the passion, culture, and community that make Baltimore one of the country's great basketball cities."
