A New Era in Next-To-Skin Warmth

Completely Reengineered. Totally Rebuilt. Still Best in Class.

Under Armour was founded on first-layer performance apparel. Constant technical innovation has produced all-new UA Packaged Baselayers, marking a new era in next-to-skin warmth.

UA design teams, in collaboration with athletes across multiple sports, set out to redefine the standard for base-layer performance. Whether worn alone or at the core of any layering system, base layers are defined by four performance categories: warmth, stretch, odor control, and fabric look and feel.

Warmth
The soft, brushed-grid interior of Packaged Base garments traps air against your skin, closely managing your body’s microclimate in a wide range of temperatures from cool October morning sits to the gnashing winds of late season.

Stretch
Packaged Base’s newly developed four-way stretch fabric allows for greater comfort and enhanced mobility.

Odor Control
Packaged Base apparel features the latest in scent control. SCENTRY technology captures over 90 percent of body odor molecules and releases them through washing and drying.

Fabric
Utilizing a polyester/Elasterell blend, considerable focus was given to creating a slicker face on the Packaged Base fabric for improved layering efficiency and a more finished look that could be worn alone.

New Packaged Base will retain UA’s conditioned-based system of 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0.

  • UA Base 2.0 Active Baselayer
Lightweight, flexible, and breathable. Turn up the heat against cooler conditions without restricting movement.

  • UA Base 3.0 All-Season Baselayer
Mid-weight warmth and mobility designed to retain more heat when external temps get severely cold.

  • UA Base 4.0 Extreme Baselayer
Extreme warmth that goes to battle against brutal temperatures with the highest insulation value.

The entire system of new Packaged Base base layers will be available mid-summer 2019.
