Under Armour will also provide basketball footwear options for all players who do not have an active shoe deal.

Unrivaled will tip off its inaugural season on Friday, January 17 on TNT at the league’s state-of-the-art facility in Miami, Florida, where fans can expect to see Under Armour’s presence on the court and as an authorized retailer with officially licensed gear available onsite. The league’s official Under Armour jerseys will be revealed at a later date prior to tip-off.

“Under Armour is all about creating products that help athletes perform at their best, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Unrivaled to outfit some of the best women’s basketball players in the world as they compete on this exciting new stage,

As a brand, we have a long history of investing in women’s basketball, from the grassroots level all the way up to the pros. From our highly competitive AAU circuits, which foster some of the best talent across the country, to our partnership with some incredible women’s collegiate programs—such as the University of South Carolina, Notre Dame, Maryland, and Utah, to name a few—to supporting our female professional basketball athletes as they pursue excellence on and off the court, we are committed to providing equity for women in the sport and we are excited to partner with Unrivaled in their mission to do just that and support these phenomenal athletes.”

This partnership with Unrivaled marks another investment in women’s basketball for the brand that has consistently shown up to support female equity in the sport. On the grassroots level, Under Armour boasts 66 girls’ programs supporting well over 2000 athletes in its ultra-competitive GUAA and UA Rise programs, which have been operating since 2019, powered by UA NEXT, Under Armour’s network of grassroots programming. Top high school talent from these circuits have the chance to compete on the national stage through several invitation-only platforms like UA’s Elite 24, Future 60 Camp and Curry Camp, all of which have equal spots for girls as they do boys. At the collegiate level, Under Armour supports 86 Division I women's basketball programs, including last year’s NCAA champions from the University of South Carolina. The brand also made history with UA Basketball Athlete Kelsey Plum by creating Dawg Class, the first of its kind camp for elite women’s basketball guards looking to navigate the journey from college basketball to the professional level. With two successful camps in the books, Dawg Class is expected to return with a new class in Spring 2025. On the professional level, Under Armour Basketball’s roster boasts multiple current WNBA athletes, including Marina Mabrey who will be a part of this inaugural season for Unrivaled.

“First of all, I'm excited about Unrivaled because we get to stay in the States and continue to build the viewership and get eyes on women's sports, with fans able to watch us throughout the whole year,

WNBA players have not been able to really do that at this level, so that is a huge positive. And then having Under Armour partner with Unrivaled is just amazing. It shows that Under Armour is serious about investing in women’s basketball, and it will give the brand more exposure with WNBA and top athletes as well as their fans, allowing them to showcase everything they have to offer.”

"Unrivaled is all about challenging the status quo, and as a fellow innovator, Under Armour shares the same values and standards of excellence we set for ourselves,” said Unrivaled President Alex Bazzell. “This partnership is more than just a collaboration; it’s a commitment to empowering our athletes and coaching staff with the tools and resources they need to elevate their game.

“This partnership with Unrivaled is not only authentic for us as a brand, it will also allow us to tap into new audiences and marketplaces," said Under Armour's President of the Americas Kara Trent. "Women’s basketball has never been more watched and culturally relevant, and this new platform with these elite athletes provides a tremendous opportunity for us to show off our best product and get exposure in front of new athletes."

Unrivaled and Under Armour are committed to supporting the growth of women’s basketball at every level, and together, they will host community events and a youth development camp powered by UA Next, Under Armour’s grassroots platform, each season. Unrivaled’s coaches will assist in creating the skill development programming for these events and the league’s players will have the opportunity to volunteer to help the next generation.
