It’s a Homecoming

Under Armour and Eastbay x Champs Sports Team Up to Kick Off NBA All-Star 2019

Athletes and celebrities might still be packing for Charlotte, but that doesn’t mean the Queen City can’t get the party started early. Under Armour, with Eastbay x Champs Sports, hosted an All-Star Weekend kickoff event at the Armoury at Champs Sports in Carolina Place Mall this evening with legendary Instagram baller Brandon “BDot” Armstrong.

With boys and girls middle schoolers from around the Charlotte area in attendance, fans got the first in person look and first opportunity, worldwide, to get their hands on the Curry 6 Coy Fish, Stephen Curry’s All-Star Game Curry 6 colorway, a nod back to his days at Davidson College when he burst onto the national scene. Youth players were also treated to an unveil of a special, limited-edition jersey for a Friday night showcase game to be played in front of some special to-be-announced guests.

Guests enjoyed screen printing, food and music provided by Mr. Incognito and emcee No Limit Larry from local radio station Power 98.
