The 2019 UA Basketball Asia Tour touched down for the first of a few stops in China, beginning with Shenzhen, the technology epicenter of the nation’s economy and the perfect place to explore the innovation on display throughout the country.

Stephen Curry first visited the headquarters of Tencent, the preeminent media platform that exists all over China and beyond, and a walkthrough of the campus showed the company’s high-tech developments. Tencent’s commitment to providing access and opportunity for all people to achieve the best version of themselves is also at the core of Under Armour’s DNA - the mission to make all athletes better. Stephen hosted a skills development clinic on Tencent's indoor basketball court, and concluded the session with a friendly game of knockout.

Stephen then visited the MIXC Under Armour Brand House, where fans completed a UA RUSH Challenge, showcasing first-hand how the latest product innovation from Under Armour is helping athletes everywhere reach their greatest potential. The two event winners, who had participated in the challenge all week for the opportunity to face-off in front of Stephen, were awarded with a pair of the Curry 6 Roaracle colorway directly from the man himself, adding two more Dub Nation members to the most passionate fan base in the NBA.

With tour activities wrapped in Shenzhen, the tour moves to Beijing, where Stephen will unite with a few fellow members of the UA Basketball sqUAd. Stay tuned for more news featuring Joel Embiid, Dennis Smith Jr. and Mo Bamba as they join Stephen to grow the game in China.
