Celebrating the Home of the Brave

Under Armour's Athletes Rock America's Colors on the Field for July 4th

This July 4th marks America’s 243rd birthday, and to celebrate Independence Day, Under Armour’s baseball roster will be wearing special edition cleats.

Bryce Harper will be wearing a pair of his signature UA Harper 4 cleats, elegantly decorated with a stripe inspired radial wrap of smartwoven fabric around the forefoot panel and heel counter. In addition, the words “Old Glory,” “Land of the Free,” and “Home of the Brave” run down the vamp alongside the tongue. Unique to Harper's cleats, the UA Harper 4 "Old Glory" LE cleats feature a TPU outsole with plastic spikes in the heel area, designed for comfort while standing in the outfield, and metal toe spikes for best-in-class traction when hitting, throwing and running.

In addition to Bryce, athletes from Under Armour's baseball roster will be wearing a special July 4th edition of the UA Yard in red, white, blue and gold stripes.

The UA Yard has been hugely popular for pros and amateurs alike, with a molded heel stretch collar, signature textiles, UA Charged Cushioning® and molded sockliner – which forms perfectly to your foot and makes it fit and feel like your favorite sneaker. In addition, the UA Yard features nine metal spikes that dig in for explosive speed and power.

Both of these cleats can be seen on the diamond during games on July 4th.
