Harper Debuts Players' Weekend Cleats a Day Late, but with Good Reason

A one-of-a-kind build using eclectic parts and pieces from the UA factory, Harper and the UA designers were able to create cleats as unique as the player for whom they’re named.

Other colorways of the Harper 4 cleat can now be purchased online and in-store at DICK’S Sporting Goods.

Every off-season, Under Armour designers and Bryce Harper connect to plan special colorways of Bryce’s signature cleats for him to wear throughout the upcoming season, including at Players’ Weekend.

Players’ Weekend was back for a third year this past weekend, giving players an opportunity to express themselves in fun and engaging ways through their jerseys and equipment.

In an incredible turn of events, Bryce was unable to play during Players’ Weekend this year; he was becoming a father for the first time and welcoming baby Harper into the world.

Bryce took a couple of days off to spend time with his family but he was back in business last night, hitting a clutch homer in the 8th to help the Phillies defeat the Pirates. In his first game back on the field, Harper laced up the Players’ Weekend cleats he had been so excited to debut a few days earlier. These exclusive Harper 4 cleats are a patchwork of scrap materials left over from other Under Armour projects.
