Under Armour Product Technologies Donated to Support Health Workers Across Europe

Under Armour is committed to making people better. During this unprecedented time, that remains unchanged. As healthcare workers across the United Kingdom, France, Germany and The Netherlands face long, physically-draining shifts while on the frontline, the well-being of all our communities is a priority. For that, Under Armour EMEA is donating 15,000 items in high performance innovations to aide in their efforts as they continue to perform at their highest of levels.

The volume of product donated by Under Armour totals nearly €1 million and will reach thousands of healthcare workers across Europe, while the donation efforts will focus on hospitals in areas where the UA family live and work. Top product and apparel innovations like UA HeatGear and UA Recover will be donated to promote comfort and reduce fatigue while fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

A number of UA athletes have been involved in this Give Back project - helping to identify hospitals in need, whilst also sending messages of support, gratitude and appreciation through their social media channels - athletes including Anthony Joshua, Jade Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Memphis Depay, Teddy Riner and Jonathan Tah.

“Under Armour and I wanted to send some of the best product innovations to try and give healthcare workers support during this extremely challenging period. We need to keep fighting together to beat this terrible virus.”
