UNDER ARMOUR DELAYS RETURN TO CAMPUS TO EARLY 2022

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Updated Requiring All U.S. Teammates Be Vaccinated by January 4, 2022

Under Armour updated this article on November 15, 2021 to reflect an update to the company’s vaccine requirements.

After close monitoring of the latest COVID-19 developments, Under Armour shared plans for the return to campus for all U.S. and Canada corporate teammates, to early 2022, in order to continue to protect the health and safety of teammates and their families.

However, Under Armour recognizes that the pandemic has taken a big toll on the mental health of our team and many teammates have expressed a desire to return to the office sooner. In an effort to focus on creating a strong culture, we are offering the opportunity for teammates to voluntarily return to campus starting September 13, 2021, provided they are fully vaccinated.

Once UA’s corporate offices in the U.S. and Canada reopen in January, all corporate teammates will be required to be fully vaccinated and have their status verified by the company in order to come to campus or partake in company-sponsored travel. All U.S. and Canada corporate teammates must be fully vaccinated by December 31, 2021. This requirement also includes teammates designated as full-time remote.

“The health, safety and well-being of our teammates, as well as their families, are our top priority. We want to provide teammates with a safe work environment and at this time, we believe that being vaccinated is the way to keep our team healthy and safe,” said Tchernavia Rocker, Chief People and Administrative Officer at Under Armour.

On November 5, 2021, OSHA issued an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), which states that businesses with 100 or more employees must ensure that workers are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or tested weekly by January 4, 2022. The ETS now requires all U.S. teammates, including DH and retail teammates, to be fully vaccinated, in order to comply with the federal vaccine mandate.

U.S. retail and Distribution House teammates will be required to have at least their first shot in a two-dose series, or their single dose shot of the COVID-19 vaccine by January 4, 2022. These teammates must receive their second shot within 30 days of their first shot. In the interim, these teammates will be subject to mask wearing and weekly testing. Teammates in other jurisdictions will continue to follow local, country-specific guidance.
