CURRY BRAND LAUNCHES LARGEST BRANDED CROSS-COMMUNITY NFT PROJECT IN HISTORY

Under Armour’s Curry Brand partners with CyberKongz, HAPE, Smilesss and Chibi Dinos to unify basketball community in the metaverse

To build one of the most vibrant basketball communities in the metaverse, Curry Brand has partnered with some of the leading and most influential brands to push the boundaries of the Web3 space by developing Basketball Headz, the first-ever minted avatars linked to real-time performance.  

 

Following last year’s unforgettable NFT debut of the Genesis Curry Flow in honor of Stephen Curry breaking the NBA three-point record, Curry Brand once again made headway in the metaverse with the recent launch of basketball-inspired NFTs – or NF3s – linked to Stephen’s on-court performance during this year’s NBA playoffs. Through June 18, fans can continue to claim one free NF3 per digital wallet, per game, each time Stephen sinks a three-pointer.

 

Beginning Wednesday, June 22, fans who were unable to claim a free NF3 will have the opportunity to purchase one for $125 at lab.currybrand.com, while supplies last.

 

Also on June 22, Curry Brand, in partnership with CyberKongz, HAPE, Smilesss, and Chibi Dinos, will introduce four IP Serums priced at $40 each – which, when combined with an NF3, will create a Basketball Headz avatar, adorned with an extensive combination of features and rarities from the selected partner. NF3 holders will be able to combine their NF3s with up to three IP serums beginning July 1 via Curry Brand’s Mixology Lab. 

 

And, to reward the loyalty of its existing 2,974 Genesis Curry Flow holders, Curry Brand will offer these users early purchase access to both the NF3s and IP Serums beginning June 19.

Additional details about the minting process will be released in the coming weeks, with new and exciting opportunities for Basketball Headz to come in the months ahead. 

 

The NF3s, which were created in partnership with Berlin Cameron, Luna Market and Newkino, can be purchased beginning June 19 for Gensis Curry Flow holders and June 22 for the general public for $125 each at lab.currybrand.com. IP serums will be available beginning June 19 for Gensis Curry Flow holders and June 22 for the general public for $40 each. All purchases must be made using Ethereum. There is no additional cost to mint the NFTs to create a Basketball Headz avatar, apart from the traditional gas fee. The Mixology Lab will launch July 1.
