On one of the most demanding courses in competitive distance running, Sharon Lokedi didn’t just show up—she delivered. The Under Armour athlete secured a first-place finish at the 2025 Boston Marathon with a time of 2:17:22, a new course record, further cementing her place among the sport’s most consistent and compelling competitors. Since her breakout win at the 2022 NYC Marathon, Lokedi has podiumed four of her last six races, including back-to-back top finishes in Boston.

For the third time in competition, Lokedi raced in Under Armour’s UA Velociti Elite 3—the brand’s most elite marathon shoe. After powering her to victory at the 2025 NYC Half Marathon, the Velociti Elite 3 once again proved its performance under pressure, helping deliver another major moment in Lokedi’s career.
